Did you know that people have been wearing their babies for thousands of years? This is a 2 hour course dedicated to baby wearing! If you are interested in baby wearing, but you are overwhelmed by the options or don’t feel comfortable using the carrier you already have, you need this class. Perfect for parents who are planning to practice attachment parenting. Guided by a doula with years of experience wearing and carrying babies, you will learn the joys of hands-free bonding: - The benefits of baby wearing - How to select a carrier that makes sense for your individual body and lifestyle - Cultural context and safety - Practice! - List of safe and recommended carriers A large variety of carriers for all body types will be provided. Feel free to bring your own carrier if you have one. Weighted dolls are provided for realistic practice. Registration is for 2 people, space is limited to 5 couplets.
